Dr. Danny Pogoda - Dentist

Dr. Pogoda was born and raised in St. Catharines and attended the University of Western Ontario for two years of undergraduate studies before being accepted to the Faculty of Dentistry at Western. Upon graduation in 1982, he completed a one year dental internship at the Hamilton General Hospital. Since 1983, Dr. Pogoda has been providing dental care for his patients at Centre Mall Dental. He enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry and is also a Forensic Dental Consultant for the Niagara Coroner’s Office. Dr. Pogoda is a member of The Hamilton Academy of Dentistry, The Ontario Dental Association, The Canadian Dental Association, The Canadian Society for Forensic Sciences, The American Academy of Forensic Sciences and The American Society for Forensic Odontology.

Dr. Pogoda and his wife Krystyna have four children, Aleksandra, Stefan, Kamila and Szymon. They have a very strong believe that they should give back to the community in which they live and supports them. For almost 25 years, Dr. Pogoda has volunteered his time as the Artistic Director of the Polonez Polish Canadian Folk Ensemble of Hamilton, a local Polish folk group of 90 members. He and his family are active members of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and Dr. Pogoda is a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Polish Alliance of Canada.

Dr. Pogoda’s hobbies include gardening and genealogy. Through his research, he has been able to trace the Pogoda family name to his 6 great-grandfather circa 1700.
